week three: nourish
week three: nourish
Congrats on making it half way though our four weeks of practices! No matter what your first two weeks looked like, I will again(always) encourage you to take a moment to consider all the ways you have continued to intentionally show up for you this week. Including everythng you are doing outside of these practices! It is no small thing to prioritize your self care and intentional involvement in your own life. A huge piece of all of this is the awareness itself. Take a moment to acknowledge your commitment and presence.
Week two we starting thinking about where we want to go and what seeds we are planting. Hopefully these practices offered you some space to explore what you are truly looking for; in your practice, in nature, and in your life. Feel free to continue to send any reflections as they come up and as you see fit.
Week three is NOURISH, and this is where we start to really pour into ourselves to fuel the journey. Restoring energy and taking good care of you to allow you to keep showing up. How will you nourish the seeds you’ve planted to successfully grow what you want?
You know the drill - 8 practices. 7 days. You decide how it looks. Work your way through the list or pick and choose each day. Use your calendar and daily tracker to record in your way. Check it off, lay out your plans for the week, mark down each one as you do it. Play around and set yourself up in a way that makes you want to show up.
Again, this is your practice to put in the time and space you have and want to offer. These can all be done in a few short moments, and there are ways to expand on each. Assess what you’ve done the first weeks - how it went, how it fit into your days, how it made you feel. Continue to allow yourself to adjust accordingly to set yourself up to be able to keep showing up. Learning what that means for you throughout all moods, energies, and experiences, and all the different ways that can look. We try, we learn, we adapt, we keep trying, we keep learning, we keep adapting. We keep showing up.
We are working to build habits and form patterns that will continue to work long term. This takes time and effort, and it is all personal, and it will change.
I will continue sharing more about my process and about each of the practices throughout the week on instagram, and love to see yours however(if) you want to share them!
I’ve shared links for options for the movement & breath below, and I will post a new self love meditation and affirmations by Tuesday.
Keep having fun with it. Get creative. Explore. Make your own rules. Do something differently. Bring your personal sparkle to each day. Make this your practice.
If you have questions about anything please feel free to reach out at any point.
I’m so happy you’re here and I hope you continue to find some joy and adventure throughout these next 2 weeks.
Keep Showing Up & Moving Like You
🤎💚✨
With love & gratitude,
Alyssa

Add a daily gratitude practice. Before, after, during your daily practice, maybe to start or end the day. If you’re adding new habits it can be helpful to stack or add them on to something youre already doing. For example, each day when you make your coffee, name three things youre grateful for specific to that day. Brushing your teeth, driving to work, think about adding on to habits you already have as a reminder trigger. Training yourself to come back to genuine gratitude each day is extremely powerful and will have a huge impact on how you show up and experience each day.
Add a daily self check in - journal or record notes about your experience each day. Before/during/after practice, morning, night, when it makes sense for you. Record how youre feeling, motivation, obstacles, ideas, brain dump. This could also include photos, drawing, recording, a way to keep track of your daily experience.
Add a daily mat practice - Try out our new online library for your first month free from now until April 2. New classes added each week. Work your way through the variety of styles and lengths, or follow my calendar for a daily suggested practice to take out any decisions.
